Circe walked down the white sand. The sun beat down, heating the world below. A soft breeze blew across the beach, blowing Circe's bangs out of her face. She smiled warmly, stopping her walk and holding out her arms to greet the spirits of the wind. She allowed herself to be blown down, and landed on her back in the soft sand. She closed her eyes. The warm sand felt good on her back.
She could tell that in this place, the spirits were happy. It was peaceful, and undisturbed by humanity. Everything was in perfect balance, as it should be. She sat there quietly, listening to the waves and the sounds of the wind. She felt comfortable and happy. A great sign for this place. She would stay here for a while and then move on. She was not meant to stay forever. They spirits here welcomed her now, but that would not last for too long.

( its me again, lol, I know I know...but we'll see if he's different XD)
Crunch. White sand hit his shoes and made inprints so undelicate in comparison to the grass that blew gentle around him. Dang. He was freaking lost now. Capital L lost. Grumbling, he walked further until he could see the waves. Well, at least the breeze and the lovely beach would be enough to assuage his mood. He loved the outdoors, always had. Always practically lived out doors. However, he did need to find some sort of home/ civilization if he planned to make it in this new, strange place. His first encounter with the natives proved sour. Whether it be his fault or theirs, it did not matter anymore and he had forgotten about it like a bad dream. Sighing, light eyes scanned the horizon. Closing his eyes, softening his posture, he breathed in the salty air. His dark hair flickering like fire against the wind, clothes racing to escape his body but trapped by hems and sewn into place. The tall male drew in the energy from the sea and felt himself becoming far happier than he'd been in a long, long, loooonng time.

((Well, it's a different person he's talking too.))
Circe shot up, frowning. Someone was approaching. But who? A smile formed on her face as she jumped to her feet. It was a boy, about her age. She could tell before she even saw him. She could tell by the sounds of his approach. She started to walk. The boy had stopped. She had to know who he was and why he was on this beach. She broke into a run, adding in a cartwheel in.
She skidded to a halt, only a few inches away from him. He was a rather handsome young man, and as she had predicted about his age. His eyes were closed, as he was taking in nature like she had been only a few seconds before.
"Hi, I'm Circe," she said rather loudly, smiling widely. She didn't wait for him to shake her hand. She grabbed his, moving it up and down with both hands. "Who are you? I've never seen you around here before."

(haha!! I like her!! She's a hoot!)
Ah, yes. Taking in the raging, uncontrollable ocean around him. Eyes closed, arms and all muscles relaxed. He was so into this beach-like transe that he nearly didnt hear the frantic movement of another body before it was too late. Well, it was too late.
Wild, wide eyes looked alarmed and frightened as his hand was taken captive by the large, burly man. A voice screamed at him, demanding his life. Blaine grabbed for his sword with his other hand, determinded it be the other who would have his life taken!! That man will....man? Blaine stopped before he fully unsheathed his sword. Girl-man? no...a girl-girl. Blaine must of had the dumbest look on his face as a girl shook his hand violently with a huge grin on her face. All his muscles tense, his body position ready for action, he was a bit shell shocked at this young woman before him.
Akwardly straightening up, he halfway smirked then grunted, remembering that it was all kind of embarrassing to begin with. He being caught off guard and all, scared by some girl his age....
Um..hullo..i guess.. he mumbled quickly, The name's Blaine..
At her second comment, he eased up a bit, then looked around in agreement.
" Well, good, 'cause I've never been 'ere before.."
He studied her a moment. She was cute, but that was not the point. He waited for her to lash out at him for his witty comment, or a sarcastic dragon to puff smoke balls at him and threaten to eat him. Taking a breath, he waited for her feminine strike of hormonal terror.

Circe laughed, releasing the boy's hand and stepping away from him. He was strange, getting ready to attack her like that. Who did he think would come after him on this beach. It wasn't like any other humans came here, say for a few travelers who got lost in the woods. "I know that," she said cheerfully, plopping down on the sand to take off her tennis-shoes. "If you had been here before, I would have seen you."
Once her shoes were off, she jumped back to her feet and walked down to the water with long quick strides. She paused half-way down the beach, then turned around and walked back. She grabbed Blaine's hand again. "We'll come on," she said pulling him along behind her.

Blaine looked at her blankly. He was a bit overwhelmed, but felt oddly better that someone had found him. Since when did he NEEd someone? Blaine shook that thought out of his head with a icy glare, he didn't. Looking at the girl, he guessed her words were truth.
Shrugging, he guessed she lived here or something. And as she took off her shoes, he stood stiffly and akwardly. Was he supposed to do the same? He turned his head to the east as she walked away briskly, trying to act aloof despite his curiosity and needy feeling. Where was she going? Oh well... but was stopped short by her hand slipping into his again. well come on He looked up at her, his light eyes in question.
" Erm..okay?"
A slight smile curved his face. He was completely at her mercy, he supposed, but followed anyways. She made another wall fall, and he stook steps with her that soon matched her brisk pace.
" Where are we goin' Circe?" He asked dumbly, his arm out before him, hanging on to the girl's. They looked, from a distance, he supposed, like a elder sister and a lost child.

"Oh, nowhere special," Circe said cheerfully, still smiling widely. She had no idea where she was going. She rarely did, but the spirits usually guided her to wherever she was supposed to go. At the moment, the ocean was calling her. That's were she was going now. When she reached the water, she released Blaine's hand and took her sword off of her back. She dropped it on the dry sand and continued her walk until she was waist deep in the salty water.
She plunged her nose and dived into an oncoming wave, letting the cool water sweep over her. To most, it would seem strange to jump in without a bathing-suit, but to Circe this was normal. She had no problem with such a thing. Wet cloths did bother her at all. She resurfaced in deeper water, wiping the water off her face. She looked back at Blaine, waiting to see his reaction. Would he stand there? Or would he come into the water with her?

Blaine watched ahead as he wobbled beside her to the waves. He watched her carefully as she undid her sword. He gulp air, wondering if she was going to strip right there. When she didn't, he was half relieved/half dissapointed. What could he say? He's a nineteen year old boy, and the thought of a girl choosing clothes over skimys was a bit dissapointing. But these thoughts were not the forefocus of his mind today. She waded in, and then dived.
He, still dumbly standing on the beach, looked around a bit. He then smirked, deciding a little swim wouldnt hurt anyone. Besides, he was tired, dirty, and fatigued after the day...letting the waves take him would only do good. Setting his sword and dagger on the ground, and plopping down to take off his boots, he pondered his own dressing. Standing and stripping his shirt over his shoulders, revealing olivish skin that had, apperantly, not seen the sun for a while. But, this pale fact could easily be changed and usually was forgotten soon enough-- his toned stomach, slim and shallowly engrained, usually took up the slack where his white tummy tone left off. He looked at his pants and shrugged. Better keep those pups on. Dont wanna scare the lass, he nearly chuckled at his lil joke.
Wading into the water a bit, he looked out at her with curious eyes. It was like he had questions only she knew the answers too. He dove under the water and felt the cold rush down his bareness and the pressure against his lungs. The waves bobbed him up and down a few feet from where Circe was. Hair plastered akwardly yet endearingly, Blaine smiled sheepishly at her, but spoke with brevor,
So...you live around here?
He began to tread water with little effort, just to have somthing to do with his hands while they spoke.

Circe treaded water calmly as she watched Blaine, as he took off his weapons, shirt, and boots. She giggled slightly as he entered the water, looking at her curiously. It took him a moment to reach her out in the deeper water. She brushed a chunk of wet hair out of her face. "Nope," she answered cheerfully before taking another breath and diving once again.
The waves moved her gently as she swam, not giving her much trouble. This time she swam along the beach instead of away from it. She surfaced again several feet away, and looked back at Blaine. "Are you coming?" she asked, diving down again. She didn't stay down for long though and resurfaced in the same spot. "Oh, but be careful about the poisonous fish."
She then dove down again for real, continuing down the beach and popping up once in a while to check on Blaine.

Blaine only nodded at her short, blunt answer. Okay...so... He could feel himself tense up again, not completely comfortable with the whole situation. However, before he could make up another small talk question to break the silence, she was gone. Rolling his eyes a bit, but smiling a bit broader he mumbled with laughter in his voice,
"yah, yah...im comin'..
He went under and swam in broad strokes, quickly coming from behind her. He was a smart swimmer, fast too. He had grown up outdoors, swimming in ponds, brooks, and even rivers. He'd go against the current as far as his muscles could stand it, then let the river take him and take him and take him until his strength regained and then he'd try again. Sometimes he would almost win, but the river always won in the end.
He came up as she garbled something about poisonous fish. His eyebrows raised and he pulled up his feet a bit and called back,
What?! Are you crazy, then?
He then watched her go and he looked around a bit, eyeing warily at the clear waters about. no poisonous fish here, or so he figured. He swam a bit more gingerly, watching where he placed his hands, feet, etc. He figured this girl was probably trying to get him killed. Ah-hah! Thats it! He snorted a bit and watched her head bob up and down. If thats what she was up to, he was onto her. He would be wary from now on. Leading him away without his weapons, posionous fish..... He wondered what was next.

"No," Circe answered with a laugh. "They won't bother you if you don't bother them. Their like bees in that sense."
She swam quicker, staying on the above the surface now. She watched the clear water below, searching. Medicines had ingredients from all over, and that included under the ocean. She stopped right above the entrance to an underwater cavern. She had come here before and she smiled that she had found it again. She turned back to Blaine, a large grin on her face. "Follow me, but don't move too fast," she shouted back at him before diving under the water.
She entered the cavern, following the narrow passage. Since she was in salt water, she wasn't able to open her eyes under the water. To make up for this, she placed her hand gently on the wall, making sure to follow the wall and not hit it. Her right hand was in front of her, searching for the end of the passage. She pushed herself along slowly with her legs, until her right hand found the cold hard surface of the wall. It was somewhat slimy.
She then moved upward quickly. She surfaced in an air-pocket. The walls of the small cavern gave off a strange glow. Circe smiled, and looked back down into the darkness below. Would Blaine make it in alright? Would he even follow her at all?
