Admarco lowered his head and sighed, as if some weight was now upon him. "Humans want power. They crave it and want to control it. I believe that is why they first wanted dragons. It started with stealing eggs of the smaller wyrms, then taking the hatchlings, and the youngsters. depending on the breed they were either put to stable and bred or put in the arena to fight. Soon many across the globe wanted dragons and it so happens that this region is the most populated by a diversity of dragons. The people here began capturing us straight from the wild. Larger and more experienced, wild dragons are more brash. Can you guess why the humans wanted stronger dragons?"
He leaned close and his voice lowered to a rumble. "War. The countries were going to war. This place has something that everyone wants, however, humans don't like to share. That is when I was attempted upon to be captured. Believe me, young one. The world is cold...and so is the heart."
