After a few mintues of hiding Spike heard a gentle voice saying ' don't be foolish' and thought to himself it must be the other dragon because he couldn't understand any human words. He slowly began to emrege from behind the tree red scales shining slightly and saw the dragon standing in a relaxed position and the human digging through the remains of his tent. Spike approached them and sat down he was never very good at starting conversations.

Edurne frowned slightly at the human's actions. She really didn't understand why, one minute, he was helping her, and the next, wanted to leave. She thought it was kind of the human not to hurt her for her taking its shelter, and so she thought it best to return the favour and not harm it. But, she couldn't say the idea of being rid of it was bad. Rather the opposite.
She saw the red dragon emerge out of hiding. She figured he must be shy, because he didn't say anything, or mute. Edurne had met a mute once, a very interesting and baffiling experience; something like what was happening with the human, she realised with a start. Of course, how could she be so silly, humans couldn't understand her language. It must be confused. She couldn't bring herself to smile at the young dragon though. She felt like scalding him for sneaking around and not minding his own business.
'Okay,' Edurne said with a sigh, trying to work out how to go about telling the dragon not to be such a sticky-beak without scaring him off. 'My name is Edurne' She thought the introduction seemed a little random, but perhaps it would be better to first know the stranger a little, so he wouldn't be inclined to run off. She bowed her head slightly in respect, but felt a little strange showing such a display to one younger then herself; such things in her culture were reserved for elders. But, she had come a long way from there.

A few seconds after he had stepped out into the open the other dragon introduced herself as Edurne and bowed to him which confused him because she seemed to be older than him or at least he thougt she was. 'Uh......my name is Spike very nice to meet you Edurne' he replied and bowed as she had done for him earlier' please forgive me for the intrusion Edurne' said Spike as calmly as possible to avoid any trouble and waited for her response.

Edurne watched him carefully. He seemed a little unsure, if not trying to appear calm and non-threatening. She didn't know why he feared her so, his height matched her own despite the apparent age gap. She flicked her tail thoughtfully, the spines that decorated it just missing a tree. The rain had died considerably, and it gave her a little more ease, and a lot more patience.
Edurne still wasn't happy that this other had been snooping around behind her, sneaking about. What if he had planned to attack her while she was off-guard? If that had been his intention, she knew he wouldn't be trustworthy even now that he was no longer unknown. Even if he was being polite. 'It's not my land,' Edurne snapped, more defensively then she wanted it to be 'I'm not worried about you're 'intrusion' '.
'I just want to know what you think you're doing, sneaking around' she forced her voice to be calm, hoping Spike hadn't taken her tone as threatening.

'I followed the mixed scents of a dragon and a human to this place' said Spike calmly 'i don't want to start any trouble i'm just curious about why you and the human are sharing that tent' he added quickly trying to remain as calm as possible not wanting to provoke the female. 'I'll leave if you want' said Spike and he looked at Edurne for a hint of her response. After a few seconds passed he still couldn't figure out what her response would be so he waited for her to respond.

Edurne sighed with toleration again. She didn't think his reasons were good enough; to be fair, Spike was curious, and perhaps instead of running away from obvious trouble, he liked to investigate - why else follow the peculiar mix of smells. She couldn't say for sure what the reason was. But, after all, hadn't she followed the humans scent too. Certainly not for the same reasons he said he had.
'If you didn't wish any trouble' Edurne said, deciding she wasn't satisfied, 'Then why come to the scent of human and dragon?'. She didn't really want him to leave, not before she could decide if what he said was the truth. She wouldn't give up until she was satisfied, even if he had offered to leave, and even if the answer didn't make much of a difference.

'Because i had nothing elese to do and i couldn't find any shelter so i figured wheres there a dragon and ahuman there must be a cave or something big enough to accomandate me' Spike replied and then added 'the only reason i stuck around was because i thought it was funny when you tried to fit in the humans' tent'.'So why were you here with the human are you its' pet?' he asked but immediatly wished he hadn't and waited for Edurne to respond.

Edurne frowned at his explanation. He could have a point, it was definitely a reasonable excuse. In fact, that was the reason she was frowning. She shook her wings off instead to distract herself, noting that the shelter the human had used was called a tent, and from Spike's amusement it was definitely not built for dragons. The rain had since stopped, so what better time to rid herself of the lingering water.
She froze when she heard the male dragon ask the question. What an absurd thing to ask, she thought. What reaction would he expect to get from asking that question? And after mentioning her blunder with the humans tent. 'No!' she said almost as quickly as he had asked the question, without meaning to. 'You seem friendlier toward the funny little creatures more then I do' she said, in her defense 'Why else would you just waltz on in here?!'

Realizing he had crossed the line by asking if she was the humans' pet Spike turned around and began to walk in the other direction. He had no reason to start a fight and he also didn't have an answer to her question so he figured the quickest way to end the conversation he was begining to get bored of it anyway.(sorry for the short post but im in a hurry)
